Women in Emerging Tech

Consider the stats – a mere fraction of tech leadership roles are held by women.

But it's not just about numbers. It's about the stories behind them. Stories of resilience, ingenuity, and breaking stereotypes.

Women in emerging tech are not just participants; they're leading the charge. From blockchain to AI, they’re proving that innovation knows no gender!

Ever dreamed of wearing multiple hats in the tech industry? Well, buckle up, because Atcha’s story will inspire you.

Starting in social media, her curiosity soon had her diving into web development, information security, and beyond. And guess what? she is now sharing her knowledge with various universities and tech companies about it!

But her ambition extends far beyond that. A true believer in the power of community, she's become an advocate for social participation, actively engaging with tech groups and generously sharing her insights and experiences. Aspiring to be both a Computer Science professor and a Cyber Security Analyst, her passion for knowledge and empowerment shines through in everything she does.

In just three short years, she became a Social Media Specialist, Application Analyst, Technical Community Manager, Technical Support Specialist, Mentor, Sustaining Engineer and KCS Coach —  all while gracing stages as a public speaker, sharing her journey and inspiring others. Talk about hustle!

Buckle up, adventurer — Chezka isn't your average person!

One minute she'd be soaring through the clouds as a pilot, the next, caring for others as a nurse. She even squeezed in time to be a reservist in the Air Force. Before all that, she used to help passengers as a flight attendant, dreaming of adventures beyond the plane.

But she’s more than that, don’t be surprised if you find her leading blockchain conferences— because she does. She isn't just one thing, she is many!

However, the thing that made her the proudest wasn't her fancy jobs, but seeing her family happy. They've seen her weather storms, both literal and emotional. Now, she shares the sunshine of success, not just by showing people breathtaking views, but by revealing the strength it took to reach them.

Her journey's not just about soaring high, it's about inspiring others to do the same, proving that any dream can take flight.

Women can be multifaceted and that’s entirely okay — Armielyn embodies this mantra, which took her to places!

If you're searching for a female tech leader, look no further. Armielyn isn't just any coder; she's a finalist for the prestigious Women in AI 2023 for Humanitarian Action award (one of the most prestigious awards for Asia-Pacific Region!!)

But wait, there's more! Armielyn's a community builder extraordinaire, active with Google Developers Program and AWS Community Builders. She's also a Regional Technology Delivery Lead, a Fractional Head of Engineering at Kippap, and a former CTO and Senior Machine Learning Engineer of top tech companies like Safe, Accenture, and Omdena. Literally a tech genius!

This gave her the opportunity to travel while doing the things she loves! From different remote areas of Luzon to Mindanao — giving talks about the amazing things data can do, making life better for people and businesses, and creating something useful from scratch with artificial intelligence!

She challenges the idea of linear learning. Her journey, like many of ours, is a beautiful zigzag, with pauses and restarts. She reminds us that the world offers endless career possibilities, limited only by our own imagination.

From her, we hear a call to focus on our own paths. We all learn at our own pace, and there's always something new to discover. So, let's ditch the comparisons and celebrate the unique journeys that make us who we are!
